casio exilim exs12The Casio Exilim EX-S12 Digital Camera ($250) boasts numerous specifications that make it great for ladies on the go. Sometimes our days are so busy that we seldom, to quote an old saying, take time to stop and smell the roses. Memories and moments pass by without a second glance, and are lost in the jumbled mess of modern day living.

That’s the reason why everyone should take pictures and videos – to remember all the important and beautiful moments in our lives. The Exilim EX-S12 digital camera is a really terrific tool for capturing these events. It is only .6” thick, making it a super thin addition to a purse pocket. There’s no excuse not to have a camera like this on hand, as it will fit into the tiniest of clutches and takes up minimal room in a hobo style handbag.

casio exilim exs12Pros:

*A gorgeous LCD monitor display of 2.7” which allows for a detailed view of that stylish new handbag or the perfect couch to decorate your living room.

*Long lasting lithium-ion battery so you’ll always have enough juice to make it through the wildest of nights.

*Face recognition technology to make sure you get the right area of focus in focus, every time.

*The 12.1-megapixels resolution is one of the best for cameras in this price range, making it a smart buy that also provides crisp and clear photos.

*A one touch button starts recording video for its YouTube Ready feature, so it’s easy to get the latest cat walk styles captured on camera.

casio exilim exs12Cons:
*A bit pricey, but worth the investment for the years of use to come out of it. Memories are worth more than that new pair of shoes for the month you’ll have to swap out of your budget.

*Only available in four colors (black, silver, green and pink) but the pink is gorgeous – a mix of peach, copper and pink creates the modern look for a technology savvy woman.

Overall Score:
8.75/10 – certifiably charmingly chic.

I’m really digging this entire collection by Midwestern native fashion designer Cynthia Rowley. I’ve featured some of her designs before and she never fails to impress me with her cohesive collections. This year the big trends seem to be geometric design, layers, fishscales, brass and a particularly reserved use of eyes. You’ll get a good a good idea of her Spring 2009 collection from these pics.

Finally, layering is made sexy. I’ve been trying to accomplish this for years, but a true professional can do it with ease.
